Place the machine upside down when changing the cutter.
Make sure the rotary knob (1.15) is loosened and the machine is at full extension.
Turn the spindle until the spindle stop (1.14) catches when pressed and the spindle is locked in place.
Loosen the locking nut (1.13) using a 19 mm open-ended spanner until resistance is felt.
Insert the preferred cutter into the open clamping collet (1.13) to the mark K on the cutter shaft. The cutter shaft should slide in with a slight resistance. Do not force the cutter in the collet!
While holding the spindle stop in place, screw in the locking nut.
Tighten the locking nut until resistance is felt. The nut should be just tight enough that it stays in place. Do not use excessive force!
